Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Gering / Scottsbluff

The staff was very polite and professional, very accommodating. Prices were comparable to a more expensive hotel chain but very reasonable. I would definitely stay again.

We have stayed here while visiting family after moving away. This is the second time we have stayed at the Cobblestone Inn (both during the pandemic) and it has yet to disappoint. This time, we stayed two nights. Val at the front desk helped us book our room with only a few hours notice without any problems. We had a king suite that was spacious, and fit our family of four well.nnWe like to think we do a fair amount of traveling and this hotel definitely checks off all the boxes on convenience. Our room had more than enough outlets to charge a laptop, iPads, a watch, phones, and a Nintendo switch overnight. We had enough pillows, blankets, and towels without having to ask for more. The “to-go” breakfast had hot and cold options, which other hotels haven’t always had during the pandemic. Coffee was available in our room and in the foyer. The pool and fitness room were available, despite COVID. The convenience store inside was a nice addition so that we didn’t have to leave the building for drinks or snacks. A “to-go” bar with wines, beers, and shots was available. You don’t have to go far to find anything you might need in town. Staff was always friendly toward us and our children. Most importantly, especially during a pandemic, the hotel looked spotlessly clean.

The staff was nice and friendly. The manager is the worst. Stay away.

Very clean, comfortable rooms. Well priced. Good hotel if you need to stay in Gering, but the bath plumbing was bit weird, as if the limit screw never got installed on the shower.

We are a production company that has used Cobblestone Inn due to their location and making it more convenient for our Installers to get to their job to install the work they went to do.nnWe have paid Cobblestone Inn, $1,000.00's of dollars over a couple of trips for our Installers. Every time, we have a problem at check in and get a phone call here at the office in Grand Island, NE. No one there is trained out of the same training book.nnNo matter how many times I ask if they have everything they need so our guys can get right into their rooms after a long drive, they say yes. Then when they arrive, we get THE call. They need this or that resent. Don't have a reservation, even though our card was charged the week before for the reservation. I don't care how nice this hotel could be, they certainly aren't in the HOSPITALITY BUSINESS.nOur Installers will driver further to their job site next time, rather then have to stand and wait (last time for ONE HOUR) for the Front Desk to figure out what I have already reconfirmed, sometimes, more then once.nIf you want to be feel like your choice to stay with a Hotel was a good choice, and you want to enjoy even an overnight stay, find one with hospitality, one who knows how to treat their customers, one who knows their business and cares about their guests. After all, it's their job! And, they've failed!
