Have fished here since the early 70's. The ambiance and scenery is unsurpassed. And the fishing is usually fantastic.

Reviewing the Motel--nEvery staff member I spoke with was friendly and helpful. However the motel is not at all worth 120 dollars per night. In fact it's robbery. My girlfriend and I were needing a place to stay on our way up to international falls and realized booking here was a mistake for us. If you're going to be hunting or fishing in the area it may suit your needs if you're not picky on price. Otherwise, without functional windows, radios, non existent tv, etc, it simply didn't seem worth it.
Not worth the price. Everything is old and outdated. Mattress was terrible, no tv. No internet. cobwebs in the corner. Windows dirty. Just yuck!nThe bar, restaurant advertised homemade pizza that came on a cardboard like a $2 frozen pizza for $18.50. Never again.
Poor internet, run-down cabins that need lots of updates, no real cabin heater, only 2 outlets in the place, toilet didnt flush well, non-working smoke detector. Better than a tent is all I can say. Stained linens and pillows.
