We spent a very pleasant 4 nights on White Iron Lake at this tranquil and well run resort. Our chalet was clean and spacious, with everything relatively new and working well. The owners were super friendly and happy to answer all sorts of daft questions about how and where to fish on the lake and nearby Boundary Waters. There were many kayaks, canoes, pedalos and stand up paddle boards for the taking, and if you were feeling more adventurous, several motor boats that could be rented. The town of Ely is close by and has several good stores to buy food and fishing equipment. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a few restful days on the water indulging your passion for fishing or just lazing about in the calm waters near the resort.

Great people great place to stay! Not to mention fishing's great!
Found this place by chance for just 1 night. we got a nice studio cabin for only $150/night. the owners are very kind, they have cool dogs running around that are sweet. They supply firewood for bonfires. The cabin and grounds are clean and the Lake is gorgeous. we would stay there again!
Amazing how quiet it is here! Folks are respectful of each other's time here and privacy yet friendly. Sleep with the wineries open and not be Disturbed except maybe the occasional slamming screen door in the morning. For sure if recommend to anyone for peaceful family it romance time.
