I was there in the spring. We had sewer backups 4 out of 7 days. We weren’t able to use the shower or restroom in our cabins. No accommodations were made for our group of 8. We had to either go in the woods or run into town. They blamed us for three days and then finally dug it up and found the pipe had cracked. No apologies. No discount, no Let me make this up to you in anyway. Fishing was ok by the bridge. Shallow to get there but there’s a hole about 8 feet deep. We limited out there once. The rest of the week was horrible. I don’t recommend this resort to anyone. I attempted to address the issue upon check out and the lady there just said, “well did they fix it? There ya go.” Terrible customer service. We will never return
Friendly workers and owners. Clean facilities and a gorgeous view of the lake. Nice socks and the grounds were clean up kept up too. I was there with the American Legion Riders of Deer River
My brother is a Veteran and brought my nephew and me here for the weekend. It was beautiful and extremely quiet. The amenities were perfect. The cabin was clean. The boat we rented was clean, in good condition and the 15 HP Evinrude motor was well maintained. Zero problems. I'd go again tomorrow.
Just amazing what they have for being all donated. Quiet, great lake (fall lake) that also goes into the BWCA.
We rented a canoe for the afternoon. They were super friendly, helpful, and affordable. Exactly what we were looking for!
