Very nice people, helped me out even though they didn't have to. Highly recommend.
We came into town on Motorcycle on the 4th of July. We decided that we would try our luck to find a room. Everything was booked solid. We called the Canoe On Inn and this really nice lady says that she has one room that was not on the books and she was not going to rent it out as it had not been updated or remodeled yet. We decided to take it and were very surprised. This room was exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable and the A/C worked great. She was very nice to talk to and even offered us the use of some chairs from her home to take up a hill to watch the fireworks. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this motel. I sure hope that the owner sees this so she knows how much her efforts are appreciated. Thank you so much!
We lived staying here! The rooms are very nice and the service was wonderful. It was within walking distance of pretty much everything! We can't wait to go back.
Great place to stay! Jim and Nancy are really great people and will make you feel at home. They are incredibly kind and accommodating. The rooms are simple but very nicely furnished and clean. Excellent value as well! When exploring Ely, the BWCAW, or surrounding areas this is a great place to stay!
Amazing owners. Great place to stay. Modern renovations including USB ports for charging on desk. Very convenient location and perfect pricing too. Coffee, microwave and mini fridge in room. Highly highly recommend staying here. We had 4 family members staying here at the same time and we all loved it. Convenient parking as well.
