Would never go there are the meanest people in the world
This is an old style resort run by an older couple that are just interesting to say the least. Accommodations are good. They tell you up front & in their literature what they have & don't have, what comes with your very affordable cabin, what they have to rent for extras & are always very friendly. They have a nice couple that do the cleaning & grounds care & they take care of most things as Charles & Alvina are on the older side of age (the sole owners) . Several quaint towns to get anything you need close. Plenty of restaurant choices close if you don't want to cook. The lake is very clean, beautiful & has very good fishing. I give them a 5 ud83dudca5 because we went there for many years & many families have gone there for decades from many, many states. Can't beat the setting for enjoying nature at its best & the owners are very friendly, great sense of humor & almost adopt anyone who stays there as their own. I can likely speak for 5 other families I know from 5 other states that have gone there over a decade. Couple of those families could stay @ 5ud83dudca5 hotels if they wanted to but chose Lillybridges because it's a great place for a good price. We live in Apple Valley, MN & plan to return there to relax, fish & make some great memories.
The hours are terrible here. I showed up at 2:30 to realize they were only open 11-2. The thing that made me mad is that they were still cooking food for other people but turned us down to serve us.
We have gone there for years. It is a nice modest place.
