This is a community of trailer style small homes. They are all very well constructed and decently spaced allowing for some area for yard activities. Most sites come with a campfire pit for you to cook weenies and smores to your hearts content. Mille Lacs Island Resort also offers a heated pool (with attached showers and restrooms) perfect for summer dives as well as a small swim beach. Most of the homes in the community are owned, some are for sale and few for rent. There is a small canal with slips residents will tie their boats up to with access to lake Mille Lacs. Mille Lacs Island Resort also offers some events throughout the year such as golf cart parades and a live DJ twice a year.
Was thinking of purchasing here, until I met the Park Manager (Jodi Kanera) - what kind of company allows their GM to scream at members while foaming at the mouth?
It's a nice little community. Lots to do, friendly folk. Close enough to town, but far enough away. ud83dude09
