This is a great place. There for 3 days over New Year’s. The deck was a perfect spot to watch the fireworks show over the bay. Winter sunset was pretty spectacular as well. Close proximity to everything in town. Clean and excellently maintained. My favorite place to stay in the north.
Such a charming and beautifully decorated hotel! Owners were extremely responsive and helpful. The location is great with a beautiful view of Lake Superior from certain rooms or when you walk right out the front! Hard to beat this place. We will definitely be coming back.

We’ve stayed at the Mayhew several times. Each room we stayed in had its own unique charm. Great style. Great location. Highly recommend staying if you get the chance.
