Lakes Inn

I have stayed here many times. This time for my honeymoon. The rooms are great. Right on lake, no need to drive. Restaurants and bars within walking distance. Single story with your own entrance. Feels more personal and private this way. The owner is great, loves the property and it really shows. Oh, and the coffee....amazing.nnWill always stay here as first choice when coming to Detroit Lakes.

Great Location, very clean and up to date! Full size fridge, oven range, microwave and coffee pot and no running out of hot water in the showers! Tim the owner is awesome and we will definitely be staying here again our next trip back to DL!

LOVE this place! My daughter and I stayed here yesterday and we did not want to leave. The room was perfect. The price was way more than fair and you couldn't ask for a better location. Tim (and Jack, the dog) are so sweet. We can't wait to come back to stay when we aren't on a schedule.

We loved the owners and personal attention they give to their guests! It actually felt more like a bed and breakfast!!! Very cute and clean rooms. We loved that we had a kitchen area. Location is great, right across from the beach, cute little coffee shop, and the deck area was great too! This is my top pick for hotels in DL so far!!! We absolutely loved it and will be back!!

The owners give personal attention to each guest. The rooms are perfectly appointed with everything a person needs for a weekend or week. Very clean!!! Full size appliances & good cookware. Location, location, location!!! Jack, the welcome dog is great, too.
