Weather Guard Roofing installed a new roof on my home last week. This is a very honest and professional company. From the initial appointment to the installation, Steve, Jim, and the team were very responsive. The installation team were awesome. They arrived at 7:45 a.m. and were done at 3:15 p.m. The cleanup was impeccable. The company’s 15 year warranty is unmatched. I highly recommend Weather Guard roofing without reservation!
Weatherguard came out (Jim) and gave a no-nonsense review and quote for shingle tear off and replacement. If you want an experienced roofer to advise what you need, call Weatherguard. If you want a salesman dog and pony show, call someone else. Jim told us exactly what we needed done. The pricing was less than the other quotes with no difference in quality of materials. We scheduled the job for the next week and their fantastic crew got it done in a day, they were very professional in their behavior. They took precautions to protect everything and there was ZERO mess by the time they finished. The clean up was spectacular! I would highly recommend Jim and Weatherguard! Every company has one of those jobs that could have gone better. We give Weatherguard a 5 star rating because of how they handled our concerns after the new roof was installed. My wife and I were very impressed with the work performed from start to finish. Prior to roof replacement, Weatherguard quickly responded and removed an ice dam that had formed on our roof. Our roof replacement project involved more than just replacing shingles and plywood. Jim provided several solutions to our ice damming problem and provided a comprehensive strategy to fix it. He was fantastic in answering all of our questions, provided information, and was hands-on during the entire project. The crew did a quality job, worked efficiently, and performed a thorough clean-up. Very satisfied!
In 2019, I had a leak in my roof, and I hired Roof Advance to fix it - they replaced a large portion of my roof and some flashing. Less than two years later, there’s another leak that’s worse than before. I call them up and 2.5 weeks later, they still hadn’t fully assessed it (they even said they’d come out a certain day, but never showed). Not happy that Roof Advance treats their repeat customers with such little care.nnSo next, I call Weatherguard roofing. Jim and Jeff come out the next day to fully assess it. They identify several issues, including a large hole in the siding where the original leak was that Roof Advance didn’t fill (mind that Roof Advance also did our gutters 5 months earlier, and the large hole in the siding is by the new gutters, and they didn’t mention anything then either, so that’s two misses). Anyway, my wife tells Roof Advance to go to hell, and we go with Weatherguard. In less than a week from our initial call, everything is taken care of. Jim personally weatherproofed much of the house and even helped repair some crumbling chimney. He’s really fantastic. We lost money using Roof Advance, but I’m confident we found our roofing company going forward. And with a 15 year leak proof guarantee, that’s a huge bonus. Really appreciate their work and Jim’s help on this!
