Comfort Inn Bay City-Riverfront

I can't say enough about the quality of the PEOPLE that work at this hotel. They are extremely generous and kind, and go out of their way to help the people of this community. The manager on duty, Kelly, was so helpful and caring that I couldn't imagine spending my money to stay anywhere else. Thank you for your kind heart and generosity.

This hotel and employees have been a Godsend in a bad health situation! I called and Dorothy answered.. My Pops needed a last minute surgery during this pandemic! My Mom needed somewhere to stay near the hospital. While I'm stuck out of state, I was able to put my Mom's (AFFORDABLE, clean, first floor) room on my credit card. Dorothy not only took notes about my Parent's situation and senior needs to make sure she was taken care of, but has also set her up with a free shuttle service to get back and forth to the hospital! ALSO, the gentleman who drives the shuttle is very accommodating, placing stairs, helping my Mom up the stairs and making her feel safe going back and forth!nI am ridiculously impressed with this Comfort Inn! I have stayed in HUNDREDS of hotels and been treated good, bad and great! There is NOTHING anyone can do to top taking such good of my Mom when I can't be there! Bonus that it's very clean and affordable!

We had a wonderful stay, the room is newly renovated and was very clean! The sheets were soft and the pillows were very comfortable, definitely not cheap pillows. All around experience was excellent. No breakfast but that's not their fault, blame Covid.

Totally took me by surprise w TOTAL renovation and remodel. It's a beautiful hotel with BEST customer service, ask for Dorothy. She's Really a Rock Star. The Mattress, pillows, linens are top of the line. I would have expected this hotel to be more expensive. It also has granite bathroom countertop.

Very few customers, you think that they would give you a nice river view with the number of rooms still available. Not sure who designed the room. Our TV was not at the end of the bed or in front of a chair & it didn't pivet. My advice is to rearrange the room (306) so those who stay can actually watch television. Reasonable price for last minute booking. Bagged breakfast was served during Covid-19 pandemic. Pool was also open. Okay for the most part.
