I was told this was the sister Hotel to Saginaw and both owned by the same management. After our incident at Saginaw (and told we'd be contacted by management but still haven't been) we moved to Bay City where we were given a room. The elevator was out of order, we were never told, and were given a suite of floor two. The room was MUCH better than Saginaw but still not clean. Everything was fine there for the most part until we tried to shower and the shower didn't work so we had to switch rooms at midnight. The girl who was running the desk was very nice though!nnSaginaw was one of the worst Holiday Inn Experiences I've ever had (and we've stayed at them for the last 20+ years). The staff wasn't accommodating (however for the most part they were professional). Upon walking in there was a wrapper to a rubber. When we got to our room the stuffing was coming out of the couch, a pube or beard hair was on the toilet seat, there were marks in the wall, some sort of white stuff on the table, holes in the pillow cases, and the AC unit was dirty... then we asked for a new room and the AC unit in there didn't have buttons... won't be going back.

GREATIMPROVEMENT (06/02/2020)

Clean friendly hotel, edit 06-02-2020 no longer a clean place to stay, the remodel is a disaster!! Building materials scattered everywhere, debris management is non existent! I think that they are selling the old furniture in the parking lot, it looks like some backdoor black market operation. We have been staying here since it originally opened, never again.

Amazing hotel for the price we paid. Staff at front desk though was a little unfriendly. Dont know if the person coming in to let her off was late but she was not happy she made sure you knew and was just not friendly at all. In the morning though there young lady denying breakfast was a angle and made everything better from the night before. Would give 5 but the night worker earned you 4 sorry...

Service was great. Very attentive. Room was clean. Shower had plenty of hot water. Only issue preventing 5 stars was other guests. Parents yelling at child(ren) in hallway at 1:00am.

The lady who checked us in and helped us was great! Nice, friendly and made us feel welcome. The only bad thing was getting our breakfast were a bigger family and the lady serving the food act like it was a burden to get( 6 of us) our breakfast .
