Campers Cove RV Park & Canoe Livery

We stayed a week here and would have loved to stay longer! We got screwed by Thunder Bay Campground which never showed any professionalism when we tried to check in twice and nobody came to the booth in the front, so we came here! This place is beautifully laid out. We stayed in a tent for the week and were able to buy our needs at the little shop nearby. The restrooms and showers are clean and well kept. When we got flooded out, they got their handyman to pump the water our for us which was a great bonus. We even rented a pontoon boat for the day and even though it rained for the first half of the day, we went out in the afternoon and enjoyed fishing and letting our dogs swim. The people that stay here seem to be very sweet for the most part besides the noise booming from some of the RV's at night. The grounds are maintained very well and we will definitely be back again to rent 2 sites side by side so we can just let our dogs be on one site since each site is fairly close and with 2 dogs, its hard to get room for them on leads without tangling. The pool was fun as well as my daughter and myself had fun. I highly recommend this place for a great camping experience! We will be trying out some of the other rental things to do next time! Best Anniversary ever thanks to this place!

We have been going to Campers Cove for years! The staff is wonderful! Always willing to jump when anyone needs anything! Very interactive with the guests! My kids love the water wars! Their Halloween Weekend is always fun and they have really made our family feel safe during all what’s going on with the Corona Virus.

Just wanted to say thank you to Mark and Judy this was an amazing environment to vacation for a week with the kids. The campground was clean, staff was friendly and kind, the water was clean to swim! So many things to do for the kids. If you are trying to decide where to go we highly recommend Campers Cove! We will definitely be back!nThe Moore family!

My family was extremely disappointed with our latest trip. We camped here several times about 17 years ago, and during our last trip there was an incident with a boat race happening on our lot and the owners didn't even apologize for that.nWe decided to try another trip since it had been awhile and we wanted to go camping. One of the staff laughed at me when I was confused that they didn't deliver fire wood anymore. They had always delivered it when we went before. Some of the long stayers were horrible towards us. A man in a camper near us had an old car which he proceeded to rev his engine and fill our camp site with blue exhaust, and then later on made fun of us for having a campfire. The showers were just hot, there wasn't any other temperature. The pool was so hot as well, it wasn't an enjoyable atmosphere. And they were emptying septic tanks while we were sitting just feet away eating our dinner, why do that job then? It was loud and gross. And the kids riding their bikes and being completely obnoxious to everyone wasn't enjoyable. The golf cart joy riders were excessive too, staring at my family as they went around like we were in a zoo. Plus they turn off the bathroom lights at midnight, which is mind boggling to my family because some people need to use the bathroom in the night or want to shower late. And they don't have any other flush-able bathrooms at the campsite.nMy family did enjoy being together, but we can do that elsewhere and probably will be choosing a different campground next time.
