Very nice quaint bed and breakfast. Jane was very accommodating. Perfect location. Nice and quiet side of town but only a 2 minute walk to the excitement. Highly recommended!

Great stay! Jane was so accommodating. We got in very late our first night. And then had to leave before breakfast on our last day. Jane left breakfast for us and even a to-go coffee cup for the road.
I never left a negative review for a hotel before, but I needed to share my unpleasant experience. I was very disappointed with the food. Continental breakfast at chain hotels are much better. There was not enough food and the quality of food was poor.nI was not a big fan of an old shower head either.nI was literally appalled but not being greeted first. How rude!!! The owner and a person, who prepared food never acknowledged me being around or passing through the hallway. I said good morning to the cook the first morning and refused to say good morning the next day. She was extremely unpleasant. I have stayed at a few Bed & Breakfast places in the past and all the owners were always welcoming, outgoing, warm and very pleasant. It was a huge disappointment to stay at the Inn of Saugatuck for my 5 girlfriends & I. I didn't feel welcome there and will never stay there again. I believe that the owner and the person, who prepares breakfast there should take some basic etiquette classes and learn how to cook.
Great location just a block away from the major downtown area. Great air conditioning for the hot summer days. Breakfast is a buffet. The Eggs Benedict Casserole was delicious. Great B and B to stay at in Saugatuck!
