This place is clean. It is perfectly located 1 block from downtown. It was nice to walk everywhere instead of driving and dealing with parking. Breakfest was always hot and yummy. David (owner) was kind and welcoming. We stayed in the cottage and it was nice and quiet and private.
We felt safe that the Inn Keeper sanitized everything and had everyone masked while indoors! The coffee/tea in bed was so nice❤ufe0fnWe looked forward to the hot breakfast in the mornings. It was easy to walk to everything from the house. I hope you enjoy your stay ud83dude00
The location is excellent and the place is attractive and cozy. They're only three rooms, which are on the second floor. Two rooms share a bathroom and one has a bathroom. The rooms are not much bigger than a queen size bed. Like all bed and breakfasts I visited, this one has a delicious, homemade breakfast. There's a lovely, tiny sunroom in the front where you can sit and read when you need to relax. Upstairs is a table that has a variety of tea to enjoy. Unfortunately, they don't supply hot water except in the morning, but the tap in the bathroom will do. You should know, that the place has no parking, so you're at the mercy of being able to find a spot. On a busy day, like a summer weekend, you may have to park several blocks away.
My husband and I stayed in the Cottage. It was clean but a bit dated (but it's a cottage and we weren't there to watch dvds). We enjoyed it none-the-less. It was nice to have some privacy but be able to walk anywhere we wanted to go in town.nnThe owners were very welcoming and seemed like genuinely kind people. Plus, the breakfasts they made were delicious and we loved how they delivered it to the door.nnOn a lesser note, I was disappointed in the hot tub, it was old and didn't work well. If the owners read this, please consider updating it. That really was a big reason we chose to stay with you. It would make it so much nicer- but we really did enjoy our stay! And would consider staying with you again!
The owner was very nice and considerate. Gave us a tour, some ideas of what to do around town, and then left us to our own devices. Breakfast was fantastic with fresh food every morning. He paid attention to details such as the fact that we needed extra coffee in the morning and edited things as needed for us the next day! It was my first bed and breakfast experience and I would definitely go back.
