Great, antique house with an awesome host. We really enjoyed staying at Douglas House Inn! The room was very clean and the breakfast was great too. The company was even better. Thanks!
I cannot speak more highly of this B&B. It is SO charming and the owners, Ken & Rick, are so sweet and so accommodating. It is nestled in the cutest little town right by restaurants, shops, and the water. Ken & Rick make the most beautiful breakfast spread each morning...I literally could have spent my whole trip right at the B&B!
Lovely building with spectacular Garden grounds, one block off Main Street and Douglas. Rick and Ken are excellent hosts.
The Douglas House Inn was an absolute treasure! We were in awe of the beautifully decorated Queen Anne's home. Details, details, details! The bed was decked out in luxurious linens and the little bathroom in the room was a nice addition. The screened porch next to the garden with the running water feature made visiting well into the night a pleasure. But the best part, an amazing breakfast cooked by Rick and Ken. An asparagus quiche, fresh fruit and juice, yogurt with granola and a rhubarb coffee cake with fresh cream topping was a meal worth the stay in itself! You can't go wrong with this little hidden treasure!!
Wonderful host can and Rick make the best breakfast ever! Douglas house is beautiful with every room done in antiques. Gardens are everywhere on the property.
