Make sure to watch the sticker price and the price at the register. I purchased cold medicine over the weekend and it rang up for $2 more. After i called the pricing issue to the clerks attention, i was given a refund and a somewhat of an apology. Not sure if she corrected this issue in their system. Wanting to share my experience to help keep them honest.
Wonderful place! I have had to come here to pick up prescriptions for my mother before. The staff is kind and seem to actually care about the customers. Then there's the quaint shop around back. The ice cream is good but I haven't tried much else (I'm sure it's great too). The souvenir shop attached to the building has some really neat things as well.

The soda fountian is an enjoyable experience for everyone! Although it's in the back of the drug store, and some say they can't find it, that's what makes it our secret of Saugatuck! Go stop in while they make you an ice cream soda or a phosphate in an old fashioned cup with the same taste from the 1920's!
If you go to Saugatuck you must go here. It's a long-time anchor store and has lots of interesting things. T-shirts, novelties, gag gifts, sunglasses, towels, souvenirs, pharmacy items, food counter, and there's an adjoining gift store. It's a fun place for the kids
