Green Built Roofing installed a roof on my home and did a fantastic job. it did take a couple weeks to start the project. I understood due to crazy times we are all going through. However, when the material was delivered in the morning and they had the roof installed within the same day. They did an incredible job cleaning up. Mike was a pleasure to work with and was very honest about things right from the beginning. I would seriously recommend them!
We needed our roof done, before snow started and after going through two different companies, Green built roofing was the best, most reasonable company we were happy with. The only down side is that, there is only one person who deals with the financing there, so if I'm remembering correctly, being out in Dorr,MI, they are a quaint little company, who does things themselves and they do them good. The owner of this business is going around writing bad checks. He wrote one to my friend Don, who is partially disabled. He was asked before depositing the check that it was for sure good, as Don doesn't have the funds to cover a bad check. He has now had to close his account. This has affected his whole life, as well as Christmas. Someone from this company needs to make this right. It's very disappointing that I go to your website and it says you work with veterans and you write people bad checks. Once you have rectified this situation, I will be more than happy to post another review stating that you did so. Do the morally, ethically, proper thing and get him the cash to cover what you did wrong. I would hate to see you end up with legal problems as passing bad checks is against the law. We look forward to you being a good human being and taking care of this today!
They replaced my roof last year. They cost a little more than the other company that I was going to go through but I'm glad I made the right choice. Green Built Roofing went above and beyond my expectations. This company has the best employees and it was a pleasure to chat with them during the process.
BEWARE! If you are ever looking to have work done on your home, stay as far away from Green Built Roofing LLC as possible. We had them come out to give us an estimate on replacing 2 skylights back in October. Signed the agreement on 10/23, gave them a check for the deposit and were told that the project could be finished before Thanksgiving. Well, Thanksgiving came and went and still nothing had been done. By mid-December we not only didn't have an install date, we were being told that the skylights now had to be custom ordered and they were going to be more expensive. At that point we contacted the office and asked for a refund of our deposit, this was on 12/22/2020. We were told the owner would have to approve since we were outside of the standard 3 day window. I have emailed repeatedly and called. I just keep being told that the owner hasn't approved yet. Apparently, he hasn't been in the office or responded to the Office Manager's emails in almost 6 weeks as it is now 01/26/2021. They will not put me in touch with the owner directly. So at this point, they have essentially stolen our deposit and will not refund it. Can't even tell you how beyond frustrated we are.....
