We absolutely loved the Old Saco Inn! We have travelled a lot and this place is up there amongst some of our favourite places we have ever stayed. We stayed at the Inn for 4 nights and skied at Shawnee Peak which was around 10-15mins away. Bruce and John (and Izzy the dog!) were lovely and such great hosts. The breakfast was amazing and we felt really at home during our stay. We also ate at the Bistro, the food was great along with good cocktails too. We plan to come back here during the summer time as we can't wait to show our friends and family this wonderful gem. Highly highly recommend.
Bruce & Jon are great hosts! We visited early March and stayed in the Blue Room for a weekend.nnThe room was cozy and had everything we needed. The view from the window so amazing and the sunlight lit up the entire room. The room and attached bathroom were very clean too.nnThe Breakfast was included in the price. Breakfast was served between 7:30 am - 9 am. We had cinnamon buns with fruit bowls as well as vanilla yogurt with granola and plenty of coffee. You can also order from the kitchen a wide variety of breakfast options on demand.nnThe inn itself had a very cozy vibe with a central fireplace and books and games everywhere. It's a great place for a staycation.nnParking: available on premise, very convenientnCheck in and check out process: simple and informalnnOverall, can't wait to visit again for another relaxing staycation!
Great Place! Such a great vibe, we loved the room and the location was great. totally staying again!
The barn was: beautiful, had the best lighting for selfies, the food was amazing. Service was kind of slow but overall amazing location and experience.
We had stop by last year for a drink in the pub. Jon was so nice we decided to book the Fourth of July weekend at the inn. Both Jon and Bruce were outstanding hosts they made us feel so welcome. We had dinner one night at the barn our meals were excellent and each morning we had a delicious breakfast cooked to order. We highly recommend The Old Saco Inn and will definitely be back.
