Waking up in the Sunrise Suite to the sun shining through the windows as it rose into clear blue skies over Seven Tree Pond, and hearing the call of the loons for five mornings in a row was the most wonderful and relaxing way to begin our six day stay at the Homestead. The peace, quiet and tranquillity of this Bed and Breakfast are more than we could have asked for. Yvonne and Mike go above and beyond to ensure you have a first class stay. They are such gracious and friendly hosts. The room is beautiful, comfortable and has so many little touches to make you feel at home. I loved the fresh flowers in a vase on the picture window sill overlooking a meadow where chickens and wildlife were scurrying around! Breakfast with fresh eggs, delicious bacon, homegrown tomato dishes and locally sourced bread was delicious and substantial enough to give us a great start to the day. Home baked cookies appeared on the table each evening to welcome us back! We didn’t get to walk down to paddle in the pond or sit outside on comfortable chairs by the roaring fire on Saturday evening because of our schedule but these are just a couple of aspects of our next visit that we greatly look forward to.

My wife, daughter, and I stayed at the Homestead for 8 wonderful nights in August, and while I could talk about how beautiful the location is, and how wonderful the whole stay was, I'd rather talk about the amazing people who really made the stay exceptional, Tom & Yvonne. At a time when travel is so difficult and everyone is wary of strangers, they welcomed us into their home to quarantine until our test results came back, and just made us feel so welcome. They are amazing hosts and truly made us feel part of the family, and when our family moves to the area next year we will surely continue the great friendships we made with Tom, Yvonne, and Cino too.

Wonderful host and hostess. Great view and great room. History of the house fascinating just our style. Breakfast choice (fresh) every morning with eggs right from the chickens who come to great you. Peaceful. Just what we wanted. Visited family. Would go again tomorrow. Might go again soon! Thank you so much

Beautiful B&B inside & out. The grounds are gorgeous! We sat on a bench by the water before we left & it was wonderful. The owners are great & the resident kitties are adorable. Our room was awesome & breakfast was delicious! I cannot say enough about this rural gem. It’s just perfect. I highly recommend it.

Yvonne and Tom were great hosts, made you feel at home and prepared a fantastic breakfast. The views around the property were beautiful and the historic homestead had tons of charm and character. Will definitely go back again and recommend for anyone looking for a quiet get away.
