Bluff House Inn

This is a wonderful place that is really quiet. The cabins are immaculate and Don is a great person who helped me when I wanted to extend my stay at the last minute. If you come for Acadia this place is perfect as it is away from the hustle of the main park. The stargazing is amazing as well!

This was our first stay at the Bluff House Inn. After a long day of of hiking, we were welcomed by the owner and his son. We had our choice of a cabin or the Inn. The cabins was up higher on the hill with excellent views and looked ideal if we had brought our own food and drink. Instead we opt for a room at the Inn. The room was clean and very comfortable. On their back deck, we enjoyed a lobster roll, chips and homemade blueberry pie and washed it down with a red ale from a local brewery while watching the sun set . . . It was all excellent! We absolutely loved our stay at the Bluff House Inn, and so did our dog! Don was so helpful and kind--a truly generous host. It's absolutely worth the visit!

Pros- nice clean little cabin with bathroom, amazing views, private little trail down to the ocean, cool hosts, zero crowdsnnCons- there is no way to prepare food in cabin (literally nothing) so in the shoulder season it can be hard to find a convenient dinner, especially if you enjoy eating after 7pm.

I am the Nana, in the review that talks about how they took our $801 without us getting to stay at their hotel. I am sorry I got sick....my daughter & grand daughter would not let me go on vacation with a 101 temperature & they wouldn't go without me. The hotel man says he would refund the money. Well just do it. He's costed my daughter a few a few hundred dollars in bank fees and many nights I hear her cry herself to sleep. Our roof is almost gone. We don't have alot of heat....they only wanted to go on this trip because my memory is leaving quickly and they didn't think we'd have another chance. But I never would have agreed if I'd thought something like this would have happened. The hotel or the speedia people should do the right thing.
