The Munroe Inn

This was a lovely place to spend a few days. Comfortable, clean quiet rooms in an old house with a pleasant eclectic decor. Convenient for the hospital and all downtown activities. The Innkeeper was attentive, but gave you space when you want it. And they allow dogs.

Beautiful place! The interior is absolutely STUNNING! Very clean. Lovely staff. Service is very lovely. I personally enjoyed my stay very much so. I would go again. Very comforting environment.

Everything you want in ab&b... a pretty Victorian with an eclectic mix of art and furnishings, a friendly owner who is around when you need her but stays out of your business when you don’t, and a breakfast that is amazing

Very pleasant Innkeeper, beautful 1899 large home. Large rooms, very tasteful furnishings throughout. Tbe breakfasts are imginative creations, and very delicious meals. We have stayed here before and expect to return many times.nNote that in the time of COVID, the innkeeper has established a very secure protocol for maintaining a safe place to stay. She will explain it if you call and ask. Secure, safe, but not intrusive.

We were here less than 12 hours. We just needed a place to sleep and it seemed a lot better than the seedy hotels in the area. We arrived around 10p and the owner greeted us and got us settled. The room was comfortable: clean, nice bed, antique tub. It fit our needs. We didn’t take advantage of breakfast, which I don’t think is included in the price. No matter. We enjoyed it.
