The people I interacted with at the pharmacy were perfectly nice.nnThe reason for the 3-star review is the following: I had a prescription compounded at Petranek's (minimum price for compounding is $30), but as the course of antibiotics was drawing to a close, I realized that I did not have enough - I got 12.5 1ml doses, rather than 14. I called Petranek's and they said that some of the medicine will inevitably be lost while dosing it (although if that is the case, why not factor that loss in and give more of the compounded drug?). To get that last dose and a half, I would have to pay the minimum $30 compounding fee again.nnOf course, it is very important to complete any course of antibiotics, so I will likely have it compounded, but I won't be getting it from Petranek's.

It is amazing to know places like this still exist and can compete with CVS's and Walgreens! I wish the Petranek's Pharmacy a great commercial success!
