I recently bought a Rockhopper Mountain Bike from Intent. Prior to owning this bike, I hadn't had a bike since I was a kid, so my level of knowledge was a novice, at best. I noticed one day my tire was fully deflated and wasn't sure how to diagnose the problem so I called and spoke with Eric (hope I got the spelling right). He told me to stop by and when I arrived, he gave me one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. He taught me how to change the inner tube, suggested certain products to make maintenance on my bike easier and even taught me how to fill my tires with the presta valve. Eric saved the day!
Didn't even buy anything, but I know I'll be back. Awesome place.
I race for intent and having a shop and training center is great. They have cycling classes, strength/metabolic conditioning classes, a 2 lane lap pool, friendly and knowledgable staff, a clean environment, and everyone always feels welcome. Intent isnt just a business it's really a family where everyone cares about each other and wants to help everyone succeed and reach their goals.
Super coaches and staff, friendly and welcoming athletes. Interval training for cyclists is next level! Strength, mobility and meditation classes. Indoor swimming pool. Everything you need to be a tri or single athlete in Libertyville. Love that they have a pro and cat 2, 3, 4, 5 cycling team too.
