Very clean. Warm rooms in winter. A little pricey at near $90 but nice rooms. Cable only has about ten channels if I remember right.

I called this motel this morning to inquire about rooms. Due to the pandemic I was unsure if hotels are still renting rooms. I have family coming in to town for a funeral this weekend. I called to see if in fact they would be renting out rooms and for the rates. The woman who answered was so rude and nasty with me and basically told me they never have rooms available. I only called to inquire and the lady raised her voice to me and said she couldnt understand me. I am Hispanic and speak clear english with a slight accent. I got the impression of being discriminated against due to the terrible attitude the phone clerk had with me while she was stating how she couldnt understand me. I asked to speak to a manager that would maybe understand me better and was told that she is the manager. So much for trying to support the local businesses in a time like this. After asking for her name she hung up on me. Terrible rude customer service in a sad time.
I stayed here a few weeks ago and I was put in a room where the heat didn't work well and the crack under the door was big enough to put my fist through. 70+ for no breakfast, no fridge and no microwave is pretty gaudy. And couldn't sleep because people getting their freak on in the rooms on both sides of me on and off til 4 in the morning. Plus you couldn't get the room if you didn't have cash for the $5 key deposit fee.
