Booked a room and they didn’t email until the day of saying that my reservation was cancelled. They did not help with accommodations whatsoever. Would never recommend this hotel. Booked with a Marriott across the street and it was cheaper, nicer, and a better location.
All was great until what appeared to be a roach ran from under the desk to under the Refrigerator stand. Then another from under the bed to under the refrigerator stand. I left in the middle of the night and contacted management three times(once every 4-7 days of not hearing back), but they never got back to me. Love my Alma mater, but I was very disappointed with this experience. Next time I plan to stay elsewhere and Uber to campus as needed.
Clean. Adequate.nBut, lying in bed at 12:20 AM I am listening to screams of students playing after finishing classes. They start finals next week. Not fun for anyone with rooms facing the quad. This place is geared to kids... not to being a hotel. It is a central location but for adults; no restaurant nor bar. It is pure nostalgia for alums.... no amenities what so ever. And the crowd outside is getting louder. I wil not stay here ever again.
The best thing about this hotel is the convenience. If you have business on campus there isn’t a more convenient location than this hotel. The rooms are well-maintained we’re well-cleaned every day. Also, it feels a bit nostalgic to stay in a campus hotel as you’re surrounded by university life. My only complaint is the breakfast voucher system. I was staying at the hotel in the summer, so the restaurants were running reduced hours. Some restaurants were closed on the weekends. The ones that were open opened at 8AM, which was too late for me on some days. Just be prepared that your breakfast options may be limited.
Beautiful, quaint, modern colonial. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant, and even though it was the summer months, we didn't have a problem finding someone if we needed something. The only problem we had with staying in the summer was the food courts downstairs were closed and they offer real good, healthy food and drink.
