Hampton Inn & Suites St. Louis/Alton

A very nice hotel but there are no carts available to help with your luggage. Also other hotels I have stayed at are doing a lot more for breakfast that just a box with a bagel, yogurt and juice. The Hampton I stayed at in Jefferson City, Missouri offered a full breakfast as did the Comfort Inn & Suites in Rochelle, IL. This Hampton needs to catch up with the other chains!

Made reservations through Hotels.com and when I arrived to check in, the lady behind the counter informed me that since I lived within a certain mile radius of the hotel, an additional $150 cash only deposit was needed which was not posted on Hotels.com. Not sure why my deposit from my credit card was not good enough?? She was very nice, not her fault. Anyway, not that I couldn't go draw out $150 for this, I was too aggravated to stay there at this point. Went down the street and got a room at the Best Western Premiere with no inexcusable bs. I won't be staying in the future.

Had a very good stay here. And the staff was extra friendly and Helpful. ID recommend this hotel to anyone

Absolutely amazing customer service! They were very accommodating after we ran into an issue with Best Western Plus next door. Very clean rooms, premium services, and superior hospitality. I’d go back again! Stay away from Best Western Plus as all costs!!!!
