Tomcat Hill Cabins

What a wonderful oasis in Southern Illinois. GPS took us to just the right location. Owners provided us with keyless access. The cabin is well made, inviting, and clean.nnThe layout of kitchen and living area make it lovely to cook and be part of the action.nnThe skylight above the loft, king size bed is a sweet touch. We spent quite a bit of time in the deck and screened in patio. It felt like you were sitting in the trees.nnIf you need anything or have a question, just text the owner your question. Beautiful cabin with hot tub, fireplace, loft, comfy beds,, great floorplan and 10 minutes from things to do like hiking and food.

This place is great. If you need a quiet escape from the city, I highly recommend Tomcat Hill Cabins. We have stayed there a couple of times, once in each cabin and both times we had a wonderful experience.

The small cabin (#2)needs some major work. Everything is outdated and it just all around needs work. The musty smell is AWFUL and the bed is as hard as a brick. I would not be renting this cabin out. Cabin #1 looks much nicer and has good reviews. I wouldn’t recommend cabin #2 to anyone! The owner was nice to deal with is about the only positive thing I will say about this place. Take my advice and stay in cabin #1 or find something else.

There was an odor as soon as you walked in the small cabin some damage that could be seen under the front window it was clean but could use a little updating.
