Super 8 by Wyndham Cedar Rapids

My cousin manages this motel & I go up 2-3 times a year 2 visit.nMotel is very nice/clean & I enjoy getting 2 see them also.

Booked a king non smoking room 3 weeks earlier on Hotels. Com and prepaid 4 the room. I arrived @1030 after a late flight and when I got to the hotel as soon as I walked into the lobby, the man behind the desk said we don't have any rooms. I said ok, but I have a reservation from 3 weeks ago. He said they were overbooked and didn't have anything for me. I ended up leaving and going across the street to the Ramada inn.

the hotel don't have the prettiest exterior but our stay and service was beyond fabulous. When we checked in we were upgraded to a king suite after having a bad night at the motel 6. As we walked to our room it was cleaned and smelled wonderful. The room was awesome, clean. the beds and pillows was like sleeping in heaven. We did have a an issue twice with the toilet not flushing but it was fixed bout time as we came back. The maintenance man allowed us to park in the front since there was no parking at all. We had a great night stay and recommend this location to all.

Apparently very short staffed so check in at 6:00 pm took 1/2 hour, as room wasn't ready even though I called ahead to confirm reservation. Staff was apologetic and room was clean and bed was comfortable.
