Like a step back in time. This old road way motor lodge almost seems untouched from the 70's. The room was clean. The price was fair. Checking in/out was easy. I'm just so used to the free breakfast that most hotels offer now that I get a bit shocked to find one that doesn't.
This is an old hotel where the non-smoking rooms smell just like the smoking rooms. The location is not near any restaurants or shopping. Wi-Fi is horrible even though the owner says it is just fine.
This was the best hotel stay I have had in years. Hamilton Alabama is a beautiful, quaint city. The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and accommodating to us. The hotel has a very rustic feel to it, and with the light speed day to day life we must lead, it was nice to slow down for a few minutes and get some peace and quiet. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely stay there again if I have the opportunity.
Rude people on the phone and in person. Had to change rooms 3 times before getting a decent room. The first one was leaking from this ceiling and the second only have half the lights working. Half-hearted apologies and excuses is all we got. We are never staying here again. It's not worth saving a couple bucks..
Nice at first, but rude after. Knocked on the door at 1030 to see if I was staying longer or checking out? Forreal ? 1030? Check out is at 11 am at least give me time to wake up and gather my things to leave. Glad it was just a one time thing. Don't ever go there plus the price is way to high for how the place looked. Not sure what people think 70's look like, but that is not it.
