Springwood Inn

My wife and I stayed for one night for our anniversary and it was very enjoyable and relaxing. Bob and Carolyn did several extra things to make our stay special. Carolyn recommended a nice restaurant and made reservations for us. The house is clean and decorated very well in the era of the house. The breakfast was 3 course and as good as the restaurant was the night before, the breakfast was better. If you stay in the cottage, it would be worth it to pay extra for the breakfast that is included when staying in the main house. For those that are concerned about staying places due to coronavirus, Bob and Carolyn took appropriate precautions such as wearing of masks and currently only booking one room at a time.

What a wonderful stay! From the first moment, Carolyn and Bob made us feel welcome and as friends of the house. Very friendly atmosphere and an amazing mansion with beautiful antiques everywhere. Breakfast service was excellent, and we were treated with a glass of wine and cheese on the porch. My wife even got to try out the antique baby grand.nnThe hosts always had a good idea for what to do and see, and impeccable restaurant recommendations. Highly recommended!

Carolyn and Bob have a beautiful place in Anniston and go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. They took time out of the day to help us learn more about the area and plan our trip. Carolyn has a lot of insight on the local area and can help arrange dinner reservations from casual to fine dining. Springwood Inn is a must stay if you are in the Anniston Alabama area. The Inn is close to everything to do in the Anniston area. Do yourself a favor and visit this great Bed & Breakfast.

What better place to stay than a place that greets you with a card and a birthday cookie? We stayed at the Springwood Inn for the weekend of my 50th birthday. The grounds are beautiful and the historic home is attractively yet comfortably decorated. Bob and Carolyn are both personable and made us feel like friends while still seeing to our needs and comfort. Carolyn suggested the best restaurants and made us reservations for both nights we were there. They also took time to talk about the history of the area and points of interest we might want to see.nWhile staying at the inn, we took advantage of many of the common rooms including the woods room with it's large windows to give a nice outside view, which is where we took our cheese and wine before going out to dinner, and the study, which we used to sit together and read in the evenings. Our bedroom was clean and inviting and the bed was comfy. For me, the best thing is waking up in the morning to the smells of breakfast wafting in the air. And I didn't have to cook it! We had a different breakfast both morning and it wasn't just toast and cereal like you get at a hotel. It was a variety of items including fruits, vegetables, meats and breads/pastries.nI would recommend this place whether you have a busy schedule and looking for a place to sleep in the evenings or looking for a place to get away from in all. You can't go wrong with this level of service and hospitality.
