Surestay Plus Hotel By Best Western Berkeley Springs

Was OK for a quick stay. We basically just slept there. Door to room was messed up, you could see light coming through. Bathroom door did not lock at all. You can't shut the heat off at all!! You can put it to low or high, not auto or off though. That needs to be changed, it was so dry and hot in the room even having it set at 65. It constantly runs. The bagged breakfast was a joke.

The stay was great as always. We noticed that renovations were done on the interior such as remove the outdated carpeting in the rooms and much needed painting. The only thing that remains in my opinion is the kiddie toilets. If your tall and and have some issues with your knees....it could be a challenge mostly.nThe bathroom needs some minor/major repairs to fix the shower curtain rod and the water drainage in the tub. I wish I took some photo's of what I'm referring too but it is what it is.nBest Western changed the sign and it's a little smaller which it could be difficult to see if you're arriving at night. You may need your (GPS) a.k.a smartphone or iPhone for precise directions if you've stayed there before.nOn a different note, enjoy Berkeley Springs wonders. The Spa's and Roman baths are absolutely wonderful and highly encourage to use to relieve those body aches and pains. The farmers market on the weekends is small but enjoyable to support small farmers in the community

Very clean Hotel the room was even updated great location beautiful view the adjacent pool and restaurant is absolutely wonderful we had steak and shrimp it was delicious did some shots had some beers went swimming the best place we stayed at on our 4-day weekend... Got to say it's a little frustrating and annoying to not have these places make the breakfast that is included in your stay and just have to walk away with a granola bar and water that upsets me every place we stayed was like that I don't understand when you can operate restaurants at a certain capacity why hotels and motels slide out of this one by giving you a piece of fruit or a granola bar and water that's ridiculous if restaurants can operate and serve drinks hotels and motels should be rightfully giving you the breakfast they promised with your room fee the breakfast that you deserve there's no reason why breakfast cannot be plated up an individually wrapped just like you put a banana a bottle of water and a piece of fruit in a brown paper bag there are ways to individually wrap meals people deserve and earn that I don't understand if restaurants can do it why hotels and motels are sliding their way out of this one makes me angry and frustrated... The Only exception was the other hotel that we stayed at had oatmeal orange juice apple juice bagels individually wrapped French toast with butter and syrup available muffins flavored cream cheeses plenty of coffee and tea if everybody did that that would be a little bit better that was probably the best one we stayed at for food.

Nice staff. Clean rooms. Have now stayed twice.

Comfortable, staff very pleasant. Breakfast was disappointing.
