The Depot Lodge

Perfect place to say for a very good price, stayed in the cabin on the end of the depot, heater/ac unit was very efficient. Close to trail head and you can ride your ATV right into town to get gas and food. Owners are good people, Terry even jump started my dead battery in my SUV, something he definitely did not have to do. Washer and dryer on site, washer is free! And dryer is only $1.00, incredible, ATV wash is great, would definitely stay again

My husband and I recently went with friends on a group trip to ride. Hubby messed up the hotel reservation and I had to scramble in the truck to quickly find a plan B. Called and spoke with the owner and they were able to help. She was so nice allowing us to choose between two rooms. She was kind enough to round up some towels/wash clothes as they do not normally provide them. She said she thought we may need them since it was last minute. We had no issues with cell service at the hotel or their wifi.nnThis is close to a trailhead and just a short ride to a small shopping center to pick up anything you may need. (2-3 minutes I’m a SxS)nnThey have a beautiful back porch RIGHT ON THE RIVER!So amazing and relaxing after a day of riding. It had a nice little kitchenette type area.nnWith all that said there were some things that weren’t so great. The shower head was missing and the shower itself was SO tiny we are not tiny folks so it was tricky and I was sprayed in the eyes for the entirety of my shower.nnAlso there were only two options for sleeping bunk beds( full on the bottom) or a futon. My husband is 6’5” 350+. Neither were ideal, but we made it work. The amount of time spent sleeping was minimal so with all the pros this wasn’t a huge con.

Great location and rooms, nice people.nnPros: good parking, great location, good heat and air, good size rooms.nCons: Terrible showers, no towels for shower, really bad wifi, floors weren't swept and moped before we came.nnHonest review: Not bad but wouldn't pay over $90-$100 a night. If you have Verizon it works well here in Man, WV though.

Didn't stay there only used pressure washer on bike. Looks like great launching point to hit Rockhouse trail system. Owners are great folks. Right on river.
