I have been coming to Cycle Progression regularly for the last 3 or 4 years and they have been consistently great. I've brought multiple repairs to them and they always give me a quote on what it will cost up front and the work is always perfect when I get the bike back. Gears, brakes, upgrades - they do it all. They are also great supporters of the bike community and show up at races and sponsor a team. All in all, best shop in Austin hands down.

Unfortunately I can't really say I had a good experience here. They don't require masks or proper facial coverings- one of the employees was wearing a bandana loosely over his mouth (which does nothing). The service took ages and there wasn't anywhere to sit inside the store, maybe if I had known I'd be waiting the better part of an hour I could have left and come back. I had paid for new tires with installation, but I had to go back that evening because my rear wheel was mounted crooked (rubbing up against the frame) and the rear tire wasn't inflated properly. Not a horrible store but with so many excellent bike shops in Austin I can't think of a reason to go back here.

Amazing service! Received a bike from here as a Christmas gift. Someone tried to steal it; parts were missing from front wheel. Brought it in and they repaired it free of charge and provided the missing parts. The person I spoke with was also very kind and empathic and encouraged me to come back for a free tune-up! Also following safe COVID procedures (you wait outside; masks worn).

I've been by a couple of times for puncture repairs and shifter cable fixes.nnBoth times they've been helpful, reasonably priced and turned round the bike significantly quicker than initially quoted.

I had done research on what kind of bike I needed and thankfully they had one in stock. Incredibly easy and friendly service, and a couple days after buying when my brake cable came loose during a ride (thankfully I was nearby) they happily helped me out.nnThey also have a shop cat which is always a big plus for me.
