Our family stayed at the Heritage Inn while traveling through New Mexico and making a trip to Carlsbad Caverns. It was the perfect little spot! The service was 5 Star, rooms were clean and comfortable, and the town of Artesia was a little gem. Definitely recommend staying here. Nita the Innkeeper was amazing! Thanks for making our vacation even better!

Stayed here about a year ago and after spending months on the road at many different hotels, I found this place to be a diamond in the ruff. Staff was super helpful and very friendly. The room was a little smaller then your standard hotel rooms but all was newly remodeled and very clean. The shower was the best one I’ve had ever used, that’s including my home shower. Great experience over all. Would definitely stay there again if I’m ever in the area

Fantastic location at a fantastic price. Room and overall decor felt like being home. Additionally, the building and parking lot felt incredibly safe.

Beautiful hotel in downtown Artesia, with nice and comfortable rooms, great service and very good breakfast. In addition, a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend it !

I highly recommend the Heritage Inn. The hotel is far from large, and I think all but one of the rooms are on the Second Floor. The location is right at the main intersection in Artesia, and you can seek the Derrick from the Hotel easily. My room lacked a sofa or easy chair, but it had a very good desk with a powerstrip and lamp. The room has been remodeled and the bathroom was modern and clean. Kimberly the Innkeeper was exceptional too. What I think I liked most about the Heritage was the large second-floor patio looking to the South of Artesia. I sat out there and enjoyed an amazing sunset. I don't think there is a Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts in Artesia, but there is a coffee shop there called Kith and Kin which was about a block away, a great pairing.
