It is an old hotel, clean but showing its age. The bed was very comfortable. Like many lower cost hotels the pillows were small squares, any smaller and they could use handkerchiefs for pillow cases lol. One oddity, the small microwave sat on top of the refrigerator but had no accessible place to plug it in, l had to carry it to the desk and plug it into the lamp base. l only planned to stay one night as a stop over between Tampa Florida and Detroit it was fine for this.
This place is nasty, there's dirt marks all over the wall, the bath tub hasn't been cleaned & the sink had hair in it, as well as dirt & grass all in the floor don't think they vacuumed the room, you could tell someone put a cigarette out against the wall, the room had 2 lamps & 1 lamp only had 1 bulb the other lamp didn't have bulbs at all. One bed was really clean the other bed had dirty sheets & a big pee spot stain.. save yourself $78 & run away as fast as you can.
Loud highway road noises. Dust in the heater/AC unit filter like it may be over 1 year since cleaned. The contractor who repairs this facility is budget by all means. Poor craftsmanship in the drywall as well as bathroom. Its popcorn everything and still see major improfections. Cigarette burns in my sheets in a non smoking room. Will not stay again. I have pictures if I can figure out how to upload.
This place is the best. It's very clean, the staff is friendly, first free breakfast I've ever seen that makes waffles in waffle makers!!! Pool is very well maintained. Fridge, microwave, and the most adorable little coffee pots in the rooms! They even supply the coffee!!! They also have a lift/seat/chair to assist in getting disabled guests into the pool. I have personally not seen that before anywhere else. Great for the price. I'll DEFINITELY return the next time I need a break from all the chaos in Cincinnati!!!!!
This is by far the WORST place I have ever stayed at! Immediately I knew I should have left when our wall had a box hanging out of it with wires still attached, ants and flies in the room, my fridge was left open with a trash can collecting the water defrosting from the freezer. Sadly this wasn’t the worst of it. This place is full of needle using people and their unattended kids loud music all night and literally hotel room doors left open while they are using needles to inject drugs. The police even showed up and management never once even looked up at us- just wakes by filling water jugs. Do not waste your money- go one mile further to the next exit and be safe and happy
