Great atmosphere and close to the spit
Incredibly relaxing place with stunning views and delish breakfast.nI was happily accommodated last minute, which is unusual this time of year. My room was comfortable, and I loved the beverage center where you could get hot tea, coffee, cocoa at anytime during your stay. Room temperatures were comfortable and the space was delightfully quiet. The flowers arranged throughout the property were beautiful as was the interior decor. I personally enjoyed the availability of educational materials, and other Homer related news, in the shared living area. Thank you Lori for a great stay and incredible tolerance for my disorganization after a life-changing campout with the bears of Katmai.nMuch appreciated. I’ll be back.
This is a fabulous place to stay. All rooms seem to have nice views of the Ketchemak Bay. Stayed several times. Food is really good and host is very accommodating
Nice location near the Spit with a view of the Cook inlet and beach. The sandhill crane mates and their twins in the next lot were nice to see. Good breakfasts and nice owners.
Had a great time at a place with a wonderful view. Watched a pair of cranes kneeling down in marsh grass picking at bugs, and an eagle flying just over the spruce tops. Across the bay, the snow capped mountains seemed to move in and out with the light fog.nAnd the breakfast was awesome! This wasn't just coffee and donuts. We had a delicious seasoned quiche, homemade blue berry pancakes, and fresh fruit filled yogurt. This was a breakfast worth getting up for. Several of the guests sat at the table together and shared stories of our travels.nThe room was spacious, clean, and cozy. The management also helped us with booking activities and restaurants. Couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful!
