We were looking to spend my Parent's 51st wedding anniversary in Homer as my parents have been everywhere in Alaska except there. The Lighthouse was the perfect destination for us. The one bedroom condos were set up with everything we needed to prepare meals and had a washer and dryer in each unit. The attention to detail and the artwork throughout our room was first class. The views from their location are breathtaking and the hospitality from Liz and Josh made us feel like we were family. What a special place in the world and I think the best place to celebrate 51 years of marriage. If you are thinking about going to Homer and staying, you have to check this place out.

A perfect location and beautiful accommodations for a wonderful weekend getaway.nnMy fiancée and I stayed here in July for a few days while we explored the area and did some fishing. We absolutely loved everything about The Lighthouse. We were welcomed to our room by Karen with homemade wedding cookies and a bottle of wine from Bear Creek Winery. She showed us the grounds and all the amenities in our room. If we needed anything, she was very responsive and quick to assist but we just kept to our own for most of our stay.nnThe room was clean and super comfortable. Location couldn’t have been any better. They’re so close to town and the Spit that it made exploring so much easier for us. We fell in love with the sleep machine they had in the room and purchased our own upon returning home. The view from the room couldn’t be more superb and we watched some otters play in the ocean below on a couple different nights. We will definitely be returning here and highly recommend it to our friends, family, and those reading these reviews.nnThank you Josh and Liz for making us feel like family while we stayed in Homer. We cannot wait to return.

The host Karen was very warm and gracious. She went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. Property was amazing! Clean comfortable beds and. What a view of kachemak bay! Quiet secluded but within spitting distance of the homer spit

You don't plan a trip to Homer with hopes of anything less than an unforgettable experience. This location does not fall short. When you tell the story of time in Homer it will will include your expeditions, the food and, if you're lucky, your lodging here. This place is serene, beautiful and well-appointed. Big recommendation! (... and you'll love the owners of you get a chance to meet them)

What an amazing getaway for my mom's 60th birthday! Our group stayed in all but 2 of the onsite units, and it was so perfect for our little celebration! The upper deck was the perfect place to take in the views of the water and the spit, and the lower deck with a hot tub served as a great place for our group to gather for meals. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and had all amenities we needed in the kitchens. This was easily one of the best rental properties I've ever stayed at and our hosts were so welcoming! We will most definitely be back!
