If I could give this BnB 6 stars I would. Maria is a phenomenal host who provides excellent accommodations. We enjoyed two delicious breakfast which held us over until dinner and got really good advice on hiking and kayaking in the area. My wife and I would recommend staying here over any hotel in the area and we would also recommend picking up Maria's cook book to attempt to replicate her Alaska pancakes.
This B&B is the best! Great view, great room! Maria is a wonderful chef! Ask her to make the Alaskan Pancakes!! Oh my word! Soooo good. Then do an adventure tour with Tim. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
Maria is a person who has been blessed with the gift of hospitality. This is a place that I would recommend without any reservation to my family.nnThe view into Kachemak Bay is outstanding and the hominess of the this place is soothing to the soul.nnConversation is intriguing and entertaining with Maria, her husband Tim or any of their many friends who stop by or come to stay for a few days.nnMaria's breakfasts' are legendary in and of themselves.nnCome weary and leave refreshed.

Maria and Tim were fantastic hosts. The bed and breakfast has an amazing view of the spit, the food was great, and the conversations were even better. They both helped provide great information about the area both current and past.
