I’ve stayed with Marriott for years. I really like their portfolio of hotels. My most recent stay had some issues with the cleanliness and communication, but I have to give it to their general manager, Keely. She addressed the issues quickly and ensured that the mistakes were fixed. I understand things happen, it’s what you do to right the wrong that stands out to me and is why I’m loyal to Marriott. I would recommend this because you are guaranteed a good room for a good price and if their are any issues, rest assured that management will take care of it.
We are platinum elite Marriott members and so we travel a lot. We stay at this particular hotel a few times a year. The lobby is in need of a good cleaning or remodel. They do have some remodeling in progress, so I'm hoping it will extend to the lobby. Our rooms were nice. They felt clean. The only other disappointment was they stopped breakfast at 9:30 on a Sunday morning so we missed it. Partly our fault because we didn't ask.
Our stay was ok. The towels where like sandpaper. The toilet paper was like it was nought at a flea market. The lobby was dirty. There is hardly anywhere to sit but on s hard coach. I called back to discuss some charges and the person I was talking to was very rude. They charge you for incidentals and don't even tell you about it. I feel that is crazy. Very unethical of Marriot. All charges should be explained up front.
Our room was spacious, offered a separate seating area, and was decorated with a special flair.
