Drury Inn & Suites San Antonio Near La Cantera Pkwy

This Drury Inn is in a great location right off the interstate and close to many shops and restaurants. There is also an Applebee's right next door if you want to stay by the hotel. Dog-friendly with a low pet fee of $35 and a nice grassy pet relief area with a dog waste station. The room was very spacious and clean. We stayed for one night during spring break and it was great. We got checked in right away and the gentleman was very kind! We thought the pool would be a little bit bigger but it ended up being perfect (the picture makes the pool look larger). The snack bar was okay! Overall a great stay and we will be back again soon.

My family and I can't stop gushing about our stay at the Drury Inn & Suites. It was so very pleasant, quiet, clean and convenient. The team was very helpful and presented a smile with every interaction. The indoor pool is definitely a win and the access to so many different eateries and activities makes for a wonderful stay-cation. We are looking forward to our next visit.

While traveling through San Antonio during the recent Labor Day weekend we stayed at Drury Inn & Suites San Antonio Near La Cantera Pkwy. I can not say enough about how this place took such good care of us given the current Covid-19 situation. They required masks be worn in common areas, limited people on the elevators and the complimentary breakfast was off the chain. The staff was so kind and caring and professional. A smile goes a long way and even though they were wearing mask we could see the smile in their eyes. We had just had a not so wonderful experience in Corpus Christi at a competitive over priced hotel (rhymes with Milton Warden Inn) where we felt like no one cared that we were there. I am so happy that Drury stepped up the game and set the bar. I am such a fan from now on that they will be my very first choice wherever I go that they have a hotel. I appreciate the entire staff from the person who took our reservation on the phone to the desk (check in and check out), housekeeping and maintenance personnel for such a pleasant and trouble free stay. I highly recommend this property if you are going to attend the Six Flags or Sea World amusement complex. Nice swimming pool and patios for lounging. Also bring your bicycles or you sneakers as there is a wide paved walking and bicycle trail adjacent to this property if you want some fresh hill country air and ambiance. It is not a part of the hotel but just a bonus. Anyway please stay here if you want a great hotel experience.

Good hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. My virgin Margarita was delicious. However, the swimming pool was not warm enough, and the breakfast and 5:30 Kickback was short-staffed and selection of food was very limited.
