We spent a relaxing weekend in Salado and really enjoyed our stay in the Baylor Cottage. Very clean, very comfortable bed and the big bathtub was great to relax in after a long hike. Hot breakfast in the morning was included, which was an additional perk. We are looking forward to our next stay at the Inn.
Location is within walking to the entertainment/downtown district. Most rooms have been updated but you can reserve a more authentically historic room in the main house. Owners and management and staff were very accommodating and friendly. Great stay!
It may be considered a 2-srar Inn, but the ambiance and experience are definitely 5-star!!!!nIt's quaint, clean, historical, and relaxing.nThe breakfast was amazing!!!
DO NOT stay at this B&B. You’ve been warned! Checked in 31-July-2020. Checked out 2-August. 1st day AC was too cold. 2nd day AC did not function. The room was filthy. The exterior of the B&B was extremely dirty. The owners should be embarrassed. Interior /exterior needs painting. We are still waiting for our lodging receipt. We very extremely disappointed. The only great good thing was the breakfast Maria cooked and delivered to our room.
It is a nice place, very friendly people, the key to the room never worked, we took a huge chance and never locked our bedroom, no problem. Breakfast was very good
