Days Inn by Wyndham Memphis - I40 and Sycamore View

Decided to stay because their sign outside said they had a hot breakfast.nWhen I asked about that, was told due to covid no breakfast. Well that started 10 months ago. Wouldn't you think someone would have changed / updated the sign ? It was a let down.nIf I had known that before check in I would have stayed at 1 of the other 1/2 dozen motels within walking distance for almost 1/2 the price $$.nMattress not comfortable. Room could have used a good scrub down on walls and door trim.nFound trash and dirty towel on floor behind refrigerator.nTemperature control unit worked just fine.nPlenty of water pressure in shower, plus multiple shower settings on shower head.nThe gentlemen working front desk were nice.

I was very disappointed!!!!! It was 24 degrees the night I stayed . It was midnight the heater blew cold air at 58 degrees! This was the 2nd room they moved me to. The bed was comfortable

It was a place to sleep is all. The door had been broke into before and tons of drug deals happened while I was there. The bed was not clean at all and I sure do hope there isn't ever a fire bc the smoke dector

After driving several hours I was tired and drove into this location without a reservation. The rate for the Room was fair the Room was decent enough. There was at least 4 other hotels within walking distance to this one, none of them inspiring a welcome feeling.The problem is this area has an economically depressed atmosphere with police cars doing drive-throughs in the parking lot. I did not appreciate that after checking out the manager did a walk through of my Room before giving me a copy of my bill , that tells me they must have problems here. I don't blame the management for this, its obviously a poor area that's been neglected by the city of Memphis and quite frankly it gives Memphis a bad image.

Awful, don't ever stay there. Dirty sheets, dirty room, the room wasn't cleaned after the last costumers.
