Room was dirty and had a very musty odor. Visible dirt on curtains, shower curtain, and walls. Large hole in shower wall where shower head comes out. The back door entry from the parking lot doesn't lock at night, so not a safe place to stay. Several cars in parking lot by back entrance had people smoking weed and causing a disturbance. Definitely NOT family friendly. Safety and cleanliness are not a priority in this hotel.
Definitely would not return to this specific location. Two of the individuals at the front desk seemed almost bothered that they were even there in the first place. A gentleman came to the front desk when we were checking in, complaining about his fridge not working. The lady at the front said there was nothing to do, and left it at that. We got to our room, and it took a couple tries to even get the door open. There was an off odor in the room, but we figured we could ignore it. The bed seemed fine. Though the entire room seemed dingy, there were small hairs in our shower, there were leftover rose petals from the last guests I assume, plus the smoke detector was covered by a plastic bag! I mainly chose this hotel and this room for the jacuzzi, but I don’t even think that was worth it. The water never got as warm as I was expecting, it was smaller and more dated than other CI locations I’ve been to. Severely disappointed, and feel it was a waste of money.
Nice atmosphere. Staff was nice. Had snacks you can buy on site. Surrounded by restaurants a dollar general and food lion. The rooms were very spacious.
Older hotel in need of a good maintenance program. Shower caulk was grubby and the ceiling was coming down over shower. Hole in carpet and toilet seat not clean. No problems with noise or area but wouldn’t stay again
Came to this hotel with a couple of friends. Overall experience is this hotel is dirty it need to severely clean, and was not impressed. You would think due to COVID that the hotel will be very clean but it wasn’t. RUN from this hotel. definitely will be staying at Holiday Inn across street next time
