Colonial Inn

From the management down to anybody that listens to management and thinks that they're doing the right thing this place is not of God. Please don't send your business to them. I'm a business owner here in Florence and it will never get my business ever ever again and anyone attached to my umbrella in Florence South Carolina will know this today

Horrible rooms, with problems ranging from bedbugs to holes all over the walls, broken light fixtures. Etc. They also lie about prices and room availability. They only use about 10 of their rooms, all others are never used which leads to them lying about vacancy. Customer service is rude and will swear at you if you try to make a complaint or ask for anything else, like toilet paper because there is none in the rooms. It’s always crowded with people smoking and drinking and begging for money outside the rooms, I guess the owner has his friends stay for free in all those “unused rooms.” Trashy place, horrible customer service, this place doesn’t even deserve one star. You’d be more comfortable sleeping out in your car with the doors unlocked. Needs to be condemned.

These are very kind people from management to housekeeping. My room, the environment, the cost, excellent. I live and stay in Myrtle Beach caught in the travel band stay at home order. Greyhound not running, know way out. I have been here beginning 4/13/2020 checking out 4/25/2020 and my stay has been great. Rooms clean, not one bug they even had exterminator spray during my stay. My room spacious location up the street from dollar general, banks, gas stations. Folks it's a motel. When I was told the price Immediately paid for five days then I begin to think what did I just pay for? I walk through the lot, climb the stairs open the door to my room, and was very surprised. I have know idea what the place use to be like but today great place to stay.

First one word.... roaches! Ugh! The first night my mom saw them. The second night, I saw them! It was disgusting! Secondly, the bed and towels were dirty. The bed sheets had dirt in them and the towels had somebody’s hair in it! Third, the people outside were loud as heck! The neighbor next to us was singing loudly at 1:00 am! Lastly (this isn’t a big issue but I still didn’t like it), if you are providing WiFi services, how about make sure the WiFi actually works!
