Was quite high considering the room was a lot less than clean, very visable cobwebs in corners, food dribbles in microwave, a spilled substance in refrigerator on 1 shelf, a bit of grit on the bathroom floor & 4-5 carpet bugs crawled up the walls and behind the pictures. Not to mention the a/c deffinately needs an internal clean and maybe adjusting along with a shot of freon as it barely cooled the room with high speed setting and temp set on 70 degrees. The pluses were comfortable beds & pillows, very nice desk clerks, but 1 seemingly grumpy man who didnt seem to understand why 3 ppl would need more towels & wash cloths when there were only 2 set ups in the room. The breakfast choices were decent normal, muffins, fruit, yogurt, and make yourself waffles but no syrups could be seen, juice & small milk cartons, coffee would have been good but due to the hurricane Dorian their shipment of sugar had been delayed so they were out they said. ( theres a grocery store 1/6 of a mile where some could have been purchased). But when its late & your exhusted you sometimes dont see or look for things that you expect to be taken care of automatically in the hospitality industry. Our 1st clue should have been the very obvious sign on the door stating the need for housekeepers & desk help. So we accept responsibility for not doing our due diligence and requesting another room or complaining at check out. But we have learned... Be observant, dont wait till your too tired to care when you check in so your not at a mentally exhusted disadvantage.
