Bald Mountain House at the Wolf Laurel Resort

Best bed & breakfast I’ve been to. The innkeeper was so gracious and made amazing vegan breakfasts as an accommodation. The hospitality was outstanding, the rooms are clean, and the bathrooms are modernized. All other bed & breakfasts will disappoint you after this one.

Wow!! Monica and Tony have such a nice place! What a wonderful mountain location (however I imagine if you go in the winter you better have 4wd!). The food was amazing, the views from every room including the bathroom were spectacular, everything was clean, beds so comfortable, we felt right at home. She even has thought of the little things like soap dispensers in the shower, bottle of lotion in the bathroom, chocolate bars in the room and cookies downstairs! Thanks for a wonderful Anniversary weekend!

Everything we hoped for. Long view of Mount Mitchell, great room, breakfast and hostess (Monica). Saw a wild turkey today off the deck, took a walk on Bald Mountain with 360 view of Mountains. Enjoy!

Monica is an amazing hostess. Breakfast tastes delicious, much better than most restaurants and the place is very peaceful. Nature is all around and the view is simply spectacular. The home-made soap is so soothing! I recommend anyone who wants a retreat to go here.

Truly a beautiful retreat. Outstanding hosts and an amazing view. Close access to the Appalachian Trail.
