The Buck House Inn on Bald Mountain Creek

The Buck House was love at the first sight for me and my husband. What a beautiful property! The bubbling creek, the views of goats and sheep, the mountain air and comfortable porch where we spent many hours reading. Debbie and Sam are most gracious hosts. They made us feel very welcome the whole time and even arranged dinner reservations in local restaurants. They helped with the information about the area. Debbie cooks an excellent breakfasts and the porch or dinning room where they are served are just perfect settings. The house has so much history. We had most wonderful vacation there and can't wait to go back. Thank you!!!!

The inn was nicely decorated, the innkeepers were very knowledgeable and very nice. My room was very comfortable and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this wonderful spot to unwind and relax. Thank you and I hope to return soon.

We first discovered The Buck House Inn by accident in July 2019, when we drove by it (kind of lost) and stopped for directions. We stopped by on our way back for an actual tour with Debbie (Debbie & Sam are the proprietors). My parents actually came for a stay before we did (on our recommendation) and thoroughly enjoyed it.nIt’s a delightful B&B, with beautifully decorated rooms, warm & friendly hosts, delicious breakfasts, peace & quiet all around (except the soothing sound of the rushing creek behind the house), lovely gardens, and an amazing veranda/deck. It’s the perfect place to get away from the busyness & stress of work.nThe weather tends to be cool in the morning & evenings, and comfortably warm during the day.nThe only minor inconvenience, is that there are so few places nearby for lunch & dinner, so it takes a little planning. However, we have fallen in love with it on our first stay, and we will certainly return!

I didn’t stay here, but my car broke down in front of the property and they were so kind! I hope to go back to stay some time.

It was great, the beauty of this place is only surpassed by the warmth and hospitality of the owners and innkeepers.
