Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort: Golden Valley, NC

The cabin and the park as always in very good condition! The staff at the park really good as well. But the staff at the counter were far from giving good customer service. I went with my family in November 2020 and the attention was excellentud83dudc4c. But this week (April 2021) was very different, maybe because they are in high season and they have many customers in the park, I don't know. For example on the website it says that they will take the Firewood to your cabin if you need it and the person who attended me told me that I had to take it on my own. I was far from my cabin because I went to try to rent a golf car and there was no availability. It was not comfortable walking with 2 firewoods to my cabin. A person who works in the park offered to take me after he saw me walking by. We continue to love the Park and we will continue to visit it. But one recommendation guys, you need to have the same quality of customer service in any season.

Love to go camping here great place to have some good family fun lots of activities and things to do they just recently paved all roads so. No more dust and smooth riding on golf cart plus our daughter loves the water park and pool highly recommended!

The outhouses were nice and clean. A lot of stuff for kids to do. Definitely need some work on the management of operations. Go ahead and book a golf cart when you place your reservation because they do not have enough for all camp sites. They need to stock pond. No one we talked to had caught anything our whole trip. Has potential to be a great pond. Camp staff seemed unprepared for some of the kid events we witnessed. Wear your mask in the store or you will be called out and embarassed... Food at Cafe was subpar at best. Again great time for kids but a lot of walking without a golf cart and management needs some organization

The sites do not have grass and are muddy when it rains. We also tried to reserve a golf cart and were told that carts could not be reserved ahead of time and only available on a first-come first-served basis. Yet when we arrive, we were told we could not get a golf cart because we did not reserve ahead of time. ??? The staff are NOT friendly and make the campers feel as though we are an imposition and not a guest. Go elsewhere.
