Americas Best Value Inn Rockingham

Always clean and the staff and owner are always professional. The price is pretty good and its never loud. Consider Americas best value inn before the others, you will not be let down.

I wish i could write a review without giving any stars. In a nutshell, we drove in and then drove back out. The overall appearance of this hotel is dirty. There were several people milling around and it felt unsafe. I am aware it is an economically depressed area, but it seemed like no effort was made to make it a place people might want to stay. Fortunately we were able to find other rooms on what was a busy weekend in Rockingham.

This is an older hotel without many of the amenities of the newer hotels. The continental breakfast is not very well done and provides barely the minimum you would expect. But, with all that said, if you are looking for a reasonably quiet place to stay that's convenient and has a very friendly and accommodating staff...this is a nice choice. It is also reasonably priced comparatively to other places nearby.

The room I stayed in was NOTHING like the pictures of the rooms online!! Rust all over the tub and sink, very old flooring, bed linens, microwave and fridge (rusty too), no light outside my door or in the little alcove my door, as well as 2 other rooms, are in. I went thru the room and wiped it down with disinfectant wipes.... Quite an eye opener when you see how dirty the room really is, even when it LOOKS clean! Try it the next time you stay at a hotel and you'll make sure you pack those wipes on EVERY trip!!

If you like the stench of stale cigarettes and desperation, this is the place for you. If you’re a fan of flies, ants, and creepy crawlers joiningnyou while you try to use the toilet, this is DEFINITELY the place for you. If you DON’T need clean, white towels, because you prefer “questionably clean” brownish-white with yellow stained towels, that are so rough, they just might tear your flesh off..... this is most CERTAINLY the place for you. This place has everything; stained sheets, ripped carpet, sticky walls with holes in them, dust on everything and in every crevice of the room, moth ball scented shampoo, inexplicable spots and stains on the walls the likes of which I haven’t seen since the Exorcist “pea soup” scene.....my niece bumped into one of the walls, and we had to leave her there because she was stuck to it.....okay, THAT’S a lie, but everything else is NOT. Trust me, save your money, you’ll be better off sleeping in a dumpster.
